Designations & certifications
Many WeSERV members, who have earned a REALTORS® designation, find the skills they learn invaluable. Holding professional designations acknowledge additional experience and expertise in various areas of the real estate business. Please know that there are additional items, fees, and courses you will need to complete to receive some of these designations and certifications. Be sure to thoroughly read the requirements for each course.
GRADUATE REALTOR® INSTITUTE DESIGNATION
Stay on the cutting edge of real estate standards and practices with a Graduate REALTORS® Institute (GRI) certification. On average, a GRI designee earns nearly 50% more than the average agent without a designation. (Source: 2013 NAR Member Profile). GRI recipients are better equipped to serve and protect their increasingly sophisticated clients because of their understanding of new technology, laws, and procedures.

ACCREDITED BUYER REPRESENTATIVE
Through REBAC, real estate professionals can hone their skills in representing the needs of home buyers in real estate transactions and earn the coveted Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) designation. In addition to providing comprehensive training in buyer representation, REBAC helps its members maintain their superior skills and develop their business opportunities through continuing real estate education, updates on issues and trends, marketing tools, membership events, consumer awareness campaigns and more.

AT HOME WITH DIVERSITY (AHWD) CERTIFICATION
The At Home With Diversity® course will prepare you to work effectively with – and – within today’s increasingly diverse pool of homebuyers. Real estate professionals who adapt to increasing cultural diversity in the market and who wisely plan to meet the needs of diverse clients gain a competitive edge and are able to expand opportunities.
The At Home with Diversity® course is the core course in order to obtain the At Home with Diversity® Certification. The At Home with Diversity® course counts for elective credit toward the ABR®, CIPS, CRS, RSPS and PMN designation.

CERTIFIED RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGER
The Certified Residential Property Manager (CRPM) program was developed and designed to hone knowledge and skills in topics that relate to the day-to-day business of a property manager. The curriculum was developed in concert with property management attorneys and longtime property manager practitioners.

The e-PRO certification is a two-day course. Day one of the course is offered at SEVRAR and day two of the course is only offered online.

The Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification is for real estate professionals who want to work with current and former military service members. The MRP certification program educates REALTORS® about working with U.S. Service members and their families and veterans to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and to take full advantage of available benefits and support.

PRICING STRATEGY ADVISOR (PSA) CERTIFICATION
Designed for real estate professionals at all experience levels and those working with either buyers or sellers, the National Association of REALTORS® PSA certification provides a framework for understanding:
- The purpose and benefits of CMAs.
- Terminology of pricing and valuation.
- The Code of Ethics as it relates to pricing.
- How to identify appropriate comparable, and where to find information about them.
- The role of supply and demand in pricing.
- How to adjust comparable.
- Specific challenges and special situations in making adjustments.

REALTOR® CERTIFIED RISK MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
The rCRMS program increases member’s knowledge and allows them to successfully manage real estate transactions for clients while reducing exposure to risk. REALTORS® who earn this certification go the extra mile to protect their client’s interests as well as their own. They recognize that in today’s litigious society, good REALTORS® need to anticipate the pitfalls in real estate transaction for their clients and themselves and be well prepared to avoid them.

REAL ESTATE NEGOTIATION EXPERT
The 2-day course is an interactive experience to help negotiators elevate their game! The course examines all times of negotiation formats and methods so that today’s negotiators can play the game to win.
A full spectrum of tips, tools, techniques, and advantages will be provided in day one so that negotiators can provide effective results for the clients. The second day of the course focuses on real-world field scenarios to help negotiators apply the power tools, techniques and tactics learned on the first day.
