SEVRAR's 2019 Board Election

I believe I can contribute to the future growth and overall success of our Board, utilizing the skills I have developed through my real estate experience. I have served as Veteran Affairs Chairman and Chairman of the Global Business & Alliances since 2014. I know the importance of preserving the future successes of the Association and maintaining those traditions while also bringing in a fresh outlook with a global mindset. I will continue to uphold a strong Code of Ethics in all areas of the REALTOR® profession, advocating for the members as well as our community.

With previously volunteering and being the chairperson for the Maricopa County Head Start program for three years, I have dedicated my time to helping and motivating our youth in the community with providing them with the motivation and guidance they need to make the correct choices to make them more successful in life. I'm always about helping and supporting anyone who wants help.

I have been a REALTOR® with West USA Realty since January 2005 and have seen many changes in our market. Having lived in the Southeast Valley for 35 years, I have witnessed the growth and seen the dynamics change. With a background in marketing for a Fortune 500 company, I have a unique perspective in our approach to this ever-changing market. SEVRAR has done a great job of providing our needs in the past, and I would love to be part of where we go in the future. I would appreciate your vote of confidence.

I am a past Board of Governor's member for the Oregon GRI program and am currently the Vice Chairman of the City of Mesa Board of Adjustment. The reason I would like to serve on the SEVRAR Board is to give back to the Association by providing my past experiences for many years as a REALTOR®. I would also like to be able to provide a conduit for members suggestions on how we can improve on an already great organization.

I have invested my time in industry activities and contributed as a volunteer leader with ARMLS. I am a working REALTOR®. I show homes and put together deals. When you see my name, I hope you think respected colleague, hardworking, courageous, and a solid leader.

SEVRAR deserves a committed Board Member, wouldn’t you agree?

I worked in the legal industry for more than a decade and transitioned to real estate. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and being able to do legal work. It's been so rewarding, and I wake up every day happy! I have so much to learn and can not wait to see what the future holds.

It brings me fulfillment to have a positive impact on the real estate market and its practice as a whole. Being a full-time, real estate practitioner for over 15 years, holding other leadership roles, being the only property manager to win the 2018 40 Under 40 award, and being a writer for a real estate magazine; I sometimes come across industry challenges and would like to have a more significant role in sharing insights and experiences that I have gained for the betterment of the industry.

This Real Estate Broker truly cares about the success of all REALTORS®. Michael is the Designated Broker of West USA Realty and has been licensed since 1993. He serves as a Real Estate Special Commissioner, professional standards for AAR & SEVRAR, AAR & Par Board of Directors, AAR Mediator & Ombudsman. I'm excited to offer my work experience and talents to help our industry adequately plan for the challenges of the future. I would appreciate your vote to represent you as a Director at SEVRAR.

I like mentoring and coaching my colleagues. I'm everyone's go-to person when they have a question or need a second opinion, and I am always happy to help. I have several Designated Brokers, Associate Brokers, and salespersons I've known from other brokerages continue to reach out to me for advice. I have been an active member of SEVRAR for almost nine years, and I love everything this Association does for its members and I want to be part of that continued growth to help more agents.

I came back to real estate in 2009 after a long-standing career in corporate America. I made the transition so I could make a difference in people's lives and to serve others with integrity. I have always been a leader and want to use my vast experience to support our industry. I love what I do. Real estate was a choice. It's time to make a bigger commitment to our industry and my fellow REALTORS®.
